POWERVR Display

Imagination offers a range of POWERVR display solutions to ensure the highest visual quality irrespective of whether the screen is a handheld LCD device, a standard definition CRT, or the latest high-definition flat-panel digital TV.

The POWERVR I2P range of de-interlacing cores offers the highest visual display quality of interlaced video content displayed on progressive displays. The cores are available with either motion adaptive (MA) or motion compensated (MC) de-interlacing support and can additionally support recursive film noise reduction and film mode (cadence) detection.

The POWERVR FRC core offers frame rate conversion for film dejudder from 24 fps sources and motion deblur by increasing refresh rates to 100/120Hz or 200/240Hz for LCD panels. Other cores for image enhancement and composition are available as part of our SoC level solutions.
